Anna Roberts – Editor-in-Chief
Anna Roberts is a senior English major at Shorter University. Her writing is frequently inspired by her Christian faith, nature, and British writers. When she isn’t writing, reading, or doing schoolwork, she can likely be found making sourdough, crocheting, or wandering through the woods.
Hanna Lewis – Social Media Manager
Hanna Lewis is a junior English and Communications double major from Chatsworth, Georgia. She graduated from Murray County High School in Chatsworth. Her favorite book is Looking for Alaska by John Green. When Hanna is not writing, she is helping with the Shorter Pep Band and the Shorter Art League. She is excited to be on the Chimes staff!
Caroline Lewis – Poetry Editor
Caroline Lewis is a senior English major and is so excited to be on the Chimes staff for her third year! She writes poetry and creative nonfiction, mostly inspired by the Holy Spirit, nature, and the British Romantics. When she isn’t writing, Caroline can be found reading, yapping about books with her friends, or frolicking in a field with her fiancé.
Avery McRay – Chimes Staff
Avery McRay is a locally grown girl from Alabama. Avery is currently pursuing an Accounting degree at Shorter University. When not juggling classes, Avery can be found collecting books for her hoard, checking off her never-ending TBR list, pampering her plant babies, or playing fetch with her puppy.
Taliyah Ford – Chimes Staff
Taliyah was homeschooled and raised in a military family, traveling all over the US before settling down in Georgia. She loves cooking, acting, and creative writing! She can also be found curled up with her favorite novel: The Grip Of It by Jac Jemc, or any of the Narnia novels. She is so excited to be part of the Chimes!
Lucas Durand – Website Manager
Lucas is a senior Communications Studies major and Christian Studies minor at Shorter University. He writes occasionally, reads sporadically, sings recreationally, and gives glory to God to the best of his ability.
George Sifuentes – Chimes Staff
George is a student at Shorter University. He is excited to be working on the Chimes!
Fabrice Poussin – Faculty Advisor
Dr. Poussin is a native of France, somewhere between Normandy, Brittany, and the Loire Valley. Professor of English and French at Shorter University, he is a lover of the arts. His publications include thousands of photographs and more than one thousand poems in magazines in the United States and Abroad. He is also the author of four collections of poetry. Most often students will find him walking his daily 11 miles around campus.
Shelby Dobson – Chimes Staff
Shelby Dobson was born and raised in Rome, GA. She was homeschooled from 4th grade through high school. She took dual enrollment classes with Shorter. Her hobbies include Lego, reading fantasy books, Squishmallow collecting, and horseback riding. Her favorite authors are Sarah J. Mass, Kiera Cass, and V.E. Schwab.
